Fab New Stockist!

It's always so lovely when someone contacts us about becoming a stockist for Arbee Cards. I know I should be in business mode, but my initial reaction is always 'awwww brilliant!' I'm really excited about my newest stockist - a brand new gift shop opening in the small town of Comber in County Down called 'The Georgian Gift House', situated on the first floor above the Georgian House restaurant (which was in The Guardian's 'Insider Guide to the Best Of British Food').

The Georgian Gift House's owner Emma has been working hard to fill the shop with handmade gifts, jewellery, vintage & upcycled crafts, homewares and other wonderful things from local & independent designers and makers, including some of her own work, with the aim of offering something more original and unusual for her customers. I can't wait to have a browse myself! Our full range of the 'Norn Iron' cards will be on sale, plus some of our vintage cards too.

The shop opens this weekend so drop in if you're passing by!

On Your Bike, Mrs!

...or Mr & Mrs that should be! Our first Bee*Mine designs have just been listed in our Folksy store and one of my favourite designs is 'Bicycle For Two'. It's as eco-friendly as the bikes on the design too - made from beautiful textured recycled natural white card.

When I list our cards on Folksy, I always get a little distracted afterwards with all the other beautiful items on the site. So to 'celebrate' the first online appearance of our Bee*Mine stationery and our bicycle design, here's a little bicycle-inspired Folksy treasury!

Lastly, if you're the bride or guest of a wedding with a bicycle theme, here is the perfect accessory to match the day, made from spokes, gear cogs and bicycle bits. Just be careful on the dancefloor at the reception!

Now all we need is some Spring sunshine to get out for a lovely long bike ride!
